Monthly Workshops
Every month workshops and seminars are conducted to
provide up-to-date business content that will help mpanies grow. Content is centered on business topics such as finance, technology, marketing, sales, human resources, etc.

You can participate in multiple ways: attend workshops
and seminars or become a speaker. To present your expertise and share your knowledge with ASBA members, contact Janine Irons at jirons@asba.com.

Business Series
Periodically, ASBA will provide a sequence of business content centered on a specific subject in business. A series of workshops on advertising, marketing, safety, technology, etc. occur throughout the year.

Simply check the Web site at www.asba.com to find out when a business series is offered and register online to attend!
Communities
A community is a group that meets once a month offering networking opportunities, education and
business relationships. The groups are either industry driven or have multiple industries represented.
The communities that are offered are Sales and Marketing Connection, The Latino Business Connection,
Authors and Speakers Roundtable, HR Roundtable,
Home-Based Business Council, T.I.M.E (Training, Information, Mentoring and Education) and the Young Professionals.

ASBA Academy
ASBA has taken technology to another level with
ASBA Academy. The Academy is an online, on- demand, 24/7 educational system powered by GeoLearning. The academy is equipped with a Learning Management System with a library of over 300 courses. Courses in the academy will focus
on business content, workforce development,
technology and certification for various industries.

Tele-Seminars
When your schedule may make it difficult to attend an on-site workshop at ASBA, tele-seminars are the solution. A tele-seminar is a seminar delivered over the phone. Business content such as sales and marketing, organization in your business and human resources are just a few topics covered. Multi-task and make the most of your valuable time by participating in a periodic tele-seminar at ASBA.
How do I get connected to ASBA’s Tele-Seminars?
Simply go to the Web site and look under the monthly
calendar for a listing of all tele-seminars. Register online, and you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation date and time when your tele seminar will take place along with dial-in instructions.
Workforce Development Training
A national initiative is now in place to provide training dollars to help companies train existing and new employees. The grant is administered through
The Arizona Department of Commerce Job Training Program. Through a series of qualifying factors, companies in Arizona can apply for the grant to utilize towards training. ASBA has teamed up with the Department of Commerce to help companies walk through the grant process.
