SASIE Awards recognize and honor outstanding entrepreneurs in the Southern Arizona region whose innovative, enterprising approach to business deserves special recognition.We aim to raise the profile of the companies that create a better business environment and build a stronger economy in Southern Arizona. These companies are inspiring examples of what can be achieved while rising to the exciting challenges of running a business in this region.

The presentation of the SASIE Awards is guided by a panel of judges from a wide range of business interests. Our sponsors and supporters include media, corporate, education and government.

SASIE Eligibility Requirements

In order to be honored with a SASIE Award, a business must be:
   • Privately held
   • Headquartered in Arizona
   • Established for three or more years
   • Entered in the appropriate category based on 
      number of employees

Nominations are accepted for outstanding achievement in the following categories:
   • Culture and People
   • Sales and Marketing
   • Customer Service
   • Use of Technology
   • Environmental Awareness

Three SASIE Awards will be given in each category, based on company size:
   • 1 to 10 employees
   • 11 to 35 employees
   • 36+ employees

The SASIE Award Winners will be announced among their peers, corporate and government leaders at an Oscar-style awards and entertainment fest at the Fox Theatre in downtown Tucson on March 6, 2008.
